Grid Data Analytics

The work in this area revolves around developing numerous techniques for online estimation and  monitoring  tasks in bulk power systems that leverage high-bandwidth data  obtained via phasor measurement units (PMUs). Our techniques improve operator situational awareness as (i) they fill the gap  between output updates of existing techniques that rely on lower bandwidth SCADA system data, and (ii) quickly react to changes in operating conditions caused by changes in loading conditions and topology.
